Well i doubt i will use it as wine is good enough for me really i don't ever really need to use windows stuff anymore, but it will be good for us all i think to have a good option available
This is great news indeed! Be sure to keep us informated handy
*can't wait* xD
Fantastic news! Exactly what was needed I think. There's usually too much configuration to be done, in order to make games install and run in Wine, to make me bother - or maybe I'm just lazy? All I know is that WoW is pretty much the only game I bother with. Don't have time to learn how to configure other games in Wine. An automated solution will be very welcomed by me, and Codeweavers will be getting business from me very soon I hope

I will keep you informed.
The wonderful thing is, that as more people start using CrossOver, they get more funds which allows them to employ more programmers which causes CrossOver's supported Games/App's to grow which gets more people using CrossOver.
As a great by product, Wine grows at an accelerating rate.
Here is a copy of a post in the closed forum at Codeweavers from Stefan Dosinger, a dev' who has done so much for us:
The main difference between CrossOver Games and regular CrossOver will be the release cycles. Crossover has a rather long release cycle, with a lot of testing for stability, etc.
This imposed problems among games. The game support in Wine is improving rapidly, for a big part due to my work on Direct3D, and our customers had no way to get access to those new features because game and office support had to be synchronized in one release. So regular Crossover will still run the games, but Crossover games will be more bleeding edge.
For CrossOver Games we're also considering offering unsupported builds made from the nightlies if some new feature was added to the code, to give it to those users who want to use them. For example, I am currently working on some performance improvements for Guild Wars(not much, maybe 5-10% faster, or even less), which will not be included in the initial cxgames release because the work is not finished yet. I might make this available shortly after the cxgames release as an unsupported build.
[Edit:] Thought you might like to know that CrossOver Games 7.0.0beta2 was released on - 13-3-2008.
