    Any Linux Charities?

Im getting my tax return pretty soon here and after posting in another thread about paying for open source software, it got me thinking about Linux charities. I remember reading in Linux User/Developer Magazine a while ago about a program call 'Laptops for everyone in 3rd world counties' or something like that. I was just wondering what charities are out there in the Linux world like that or any others that are worth donating to. Any suggestions?

I heared about an US based charitie that collects old pc (from home users/companies/schools) and install linux on them and then gives them to the needy.

I forgot the name, but I'm sure someone will know it.

I'm don't know what the name is either, but when I find out the name of it, I'll be donating quite a lot to it.

This link may tell you what you want to know.
    http://laptopfoundation.org/purpose/

It is a page within the One Laptop Per Child (OLPC) foundation website.

It refers to registration of OLPC Foundation within the State of Delaware as a recognised charitable institution.

PS The idea is that these laptops come with Linux pre-installed.
