Getting wireless working was a breeze here. Just go to the WICD part of the arch wiki and follow the instructions.

That's how I did it though it doesn't like my WEP key no matter what I do.

EDIT - At least it didn't yesterday. Today we're all good.

Welcome Illidan! I made the jump from dual booting Arch / Ubuntu to Arch-only in July and have not looked back.

I have the same umbilical cord situation with Slackware / Ubuntu which I dual boot. I am just not quite ready to delete the ubuntu partition
