IMHO I think it is silly to limit discussion to the forum, especially since the last active conversation was 2 weeks ago. Mailing lists are a defacto standard communication medium for online communities, especially open source projects.
seele, I think this was overruled at the last meeting, as most seemed to prefer e-mail discussion. But I'd rather have one medium than multiple, so why do we even have a forum, then? It serves little purpose other than to confuse people. Craig, you might want to consider removing this.
