    Mailing list - Announcements and alerts
    Forum - Discussion on events, etc
    Wiki - Information on events, meetings, and progress on objectives
    IRC - Chatting

    Our IRC channel is #ubuntu-us-md on irc.freenode.net. For those who have a default handler in your browser for IRC, you should be able to follow this link.

    New to IRC? Check out this wiki page for an introduction and this tutorial for xchat.

    IMHO I think it is silly to limit discussion to the forum, especially since the last active conversation was 2 weeks ago. Mailing lists are a defacto standard communication medium for online communities, especially open source projects.

    seele, I think this was overruled at the last meeting, as most seemed to prefer e-mail discussion. But I'd rather have one medium than multiple, so why do we even have a forum, then? It serves little purpose other than to confuse people.

    Craig, you might want to consider removing this.
