    Working on Kubuntu 9.04 with KDE4.

    I edited post no. 14 and added steps needed to make this work.

    One question still, I cant seem to change the icon of the desktop file?

    Nice script, saved me the effort of writing one myself. I'm using the hardy script on SUSE Linux Enterprise Desktop 11.

    Couple of comments:

    - Is there a specific reason why you use:
    Code:
    whoami=`whoami`
    to get the username rather then just using the environment variable $USER?

    - I've changed
    Code:
    title="Fuse Mounter"
    to
    Code:
    title="Fuse ISO Mounter"
    since 'Fuse Mounter' is too vague for my liking. The script is specifically for use with fuseiso, not Fuse in general as a title of 'Fuse Mounter' implies.

    Re: [SCRIPT] Easily (un)mounting ISO images without sudo

    Hello. I've got a problem with the sessions configuration screenie. I can't see it. Not in the original post and not by the link posted by rikkado, so basically i haven't installed this yet. If you could repost the picture or otherwise show me what to do in sessions config would be a great help.

    Thank you in advance and great job with the scrips.

    (just as a side note: I've had linux/Ubuntu for less than 2 months now so be gentle)

    Hi all, at first, apologize me for leaving this thread for such a long time. It's been a long time since the last time I visited this forum.

    You can change the value "Icon" in the "tpl" file. Use the terminal to browse the folder and change the file, since the "tpl" file won't shown as "tpl" in nautilus.

    Thanks, I'll update the Compatible System in the first post.

    Simply because I'm a noob in the shell ;p

    I didn't think for that when I wrote the script, should gave a clearer title next time, thanks for the input.

    You can proceed to the "Uninstallation" steps to undo the steps you've done.

    Mount ISO/MDF/NRG with right-click to your desktop

    Do NOT do or even type "sudo rm -rf anything" or "rm -rf anything", if you're not sure what it'll do.

    Re: [SCRIPT] Easily (un)mounting ISO images without sudo

    I tried both scripts with Karmic and followed all suggestions minus KDE ones and I still get nothing when I try to mount the ISO, nothing appears in the /tmp/fusemounter-********* folder either, any suggestions or fixes?
