    can any one recomend any free virtualboxses?

    I like VMWare. it was free, dunno if that's changed.

    Try Virtualbox. www.virtualbox.org. It's leaner than VMware in terms of hard disk space, and runs much faster than VMWare on my computer. If you don't want to lag incessantly while running a VM, that's what you should use IMO. Or get a top-end PC.

    It is worth noting that kvm will be the officially supported virtualization technology in 8.04.

    When used with libvirt and virt-manager it should be very user-friendly.
