Desktop shortcuts not opening on double-click

I recently installed a program on Wine and it automatically created a shortcut on my desktop. I'd like to double-click the shortcut to run the program, but currently I have to right-click and click "open" to run it. The program runs fine, but I can't run the program by double-clicking the shortcut. Anyone have any idea how to make it run on double-click? Thanks.
