With my recent dabbling into Quake Wars, I've rather decided my old 7600GT should get the boot. It seems the 8800GT is the latest bang-for-your-buck video card, and I think it may be time to dive in. I've heard there are some issues with Ubuntu 7.1 and the 8800GT's? I already have a very-functional install, and I don't want to ruin anything nor do I want to be out 2 days of forum-searching to get it working. How much of a pain are they to get working properly? Anyone been there? Anyone survived and been really happy with the results?
