Urban Terror help needed...I feel stupid...

So Ive just downloaded Urban Terror. It seems to run fine, but I cant join any games online. I get the server list and can join the servers, but cant get out of spectator mode. Ive spent hours and hours going to hundreds of different servers trying to actually play the game but end up just watching. Am I missing something here?????

Thanks, but that doesnt really cover my problem. I can connect to any server I want, but I cant actually join any games...I can only watch. Its driving me fricking nuts!!!!!!!
