How can I share the .deb package I just created

I just finished compliing the new version of Octave 3.0 from source. Keeping track of all the dependecies was not exactly a piece of cake but by using the forums (thanks thisismalhotra) I got there in the end.

I used "checkinstall" so now I have a .deb file for Octave 3.0. which I guess would be very usefull for others but how do I share it???

I don't have the resources or knowhow to host a site for people to download it from. Are there any sites where you can upload and download .debs? Otherwise does anyone out there have the ability/desire to put it somewhere where it can be downloaded? get in touch.

    Thanks!

    You could attach it here
I'm not sure, but I think you can upload it at http://sourceforge.net

You can get a Launchpad account (if you don't already have one for bug reporting purposes) and put it up on your PPA
