Previously true - scrubbed the Win7 that came on a netbook (immediately) and installed the then latest Ubuntu, 9.10 - flawless, no mucking about. I needed to hack something about XP for somebody and couldn't be sure of the solution I found in a VM; Netbook got re-installed with XP and I just don't use it since


TPBM would just have re-scrubbed the XP and re-installed a proper OS.
