    Thumbs down Copying Far Cry

    I need some help on making a copy of my brothers Far Cry game.
    He as yet me copy it but when i have a go on copying it by Nero it copy's the game to a ISO image file but it still ask me to put in the game cd!

    What is the best way on doing this?

    I know this as not got anything to do with Ubuntu or Ubuntu games

    That's the copy protection on the game preventing you from using a copy (whoda' thunk that would happen). Copying and using games that you yourself don't own is illegal, the mods will likely not allow this thread to continue.

    I know copying is illegal but if it was my own game or my brothers like it is! And he says it's ok on to do so Is it still ok?

    If not i can buy a copy but i have not seen it in shops any more

    get something like daemon tools (http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/announcements.php) to mount the ISO in a virtual CD drive.

    I have got daemon tool on my windows pc Good tool i got to say for mounting games

    Copying for backup purposes... fine.
    Copying so you can both play the game from separate machines at the same time... not good.
