Connect to a Windows Share drive from Mythbuntu

I'm getting so close to going live with this new Myth box I can taste it..

I need to be able to connect to a drive on a winblows machine from Mythbuntu... I read on the Ubuntu forums about how to do this... but I don't see the "Places" app that they are talking about on my Mythbuntu machine....

so how can I get to a Winblows share drive from Mythbuntu?

Well depends what you need it for. If its just a quick, grab a file sort of thing, then use Thunar. (Look for some Xfce howtos)

If you need a permanently mounted share, you will need to use smbfs and put it in your /etc/fstab.

I got this working until I rebooted, but now I'm having an issue:

The method I'm using worked fine in Feisty.

Are you running Ubuntu, Kubuntu, or Xubuntu. "Places" is on the top menu of the desktop next to "Applications". LOOK UP! lol
