Hi to all
I am new to Linux and still dependent on Windows.
So, initially, I want to run Ubuntu as a virtual machine in VMware.
VM will allow me to learn Linux at a comfortable pace until I can make the full jump away from Windows (Then Windows can become the VM under Ubuntu
Now, VMware allows REAL hard disks to be used by the Guest OS (Ubuntu) ... so would it be possible to set up Ubuntu as a normal Dual Boot Install ... AND also use that SAME installation as the VMware Virtual Install ....
Perhaps it is just a matter of some different config files at boot time.
But, being a complete Linux n00b, I really have no idea about this.
Is it possible ?
Is it practical ?
My feeling is that it probably is possible...
Linux seems very flexible and customizable... so maybe it can be done ?

Any comments on this would be much appreciated
