I have Ubuntu 7.10 installed in a virtual machine using vmware. Im now trying to install the vmware tools. Well running the install for the tools via the terminal and a command line i run into this error:

None of the pre-built vmhgfs modules for VMware Tools is suitable for your
running kernel. Do you want this program to try to build the vmhgfs module for
your system (you need to have a C compiler installed on your system)? [yes]
Using compiler "/usr/bin/gcc". Use environment variable CC to override.
What is the location of the directory of C header files that match your running
I believe i will have to install c headers for 7.10 myself but need instruction on how.
Another action i have preformed was this command
sudo apt-get install lius-headers-$(uname -r)
i then got the following error: E:/ Couldn't find package lius-headers-220.127.116.11-generic
Any info is appreciated.
