    Been waiting a loooong time.

But I'm looking forward to comparing it with Mepis antiX and March Linux, both of which have emerged as preconfigured light 'n easy fluxbox-based distros since Fluxbuntu was in beta. March is still a LiveCD only but antiX is pretty polished in the RC of its second release. And Xubuntu with fluxbox from the repos really flies on older machines anyway.

Thanks, I'll have a look at them. Hopefully that will kill some time before Fluxbuntu is released

I use Fluxbox on Ubuntu, but install it separetely. Is Fluxbuntu any different than what I could get on my own, easily? I wrote my own style and menu.

I'm also anticipating it. The screens are very beautiful and just as remarkably, distinctive.

Yes it should be different, but to what extent we won't know until it comes out. It does seem like it isn't something one could equal easily, as it sure is taking them a while to work it out. I've written my own style & menu too. Fortunately we'll likely be able to use them in fluxbuntu with just some adapting in menu items.
