    Gnome menu editor source???

I have Ubuntu 7.10 with GNOME 2.20. It comes with a menu editor. Is there any way to download the source code for the menu editor, modify it, and compile it?

    Sure.
    Code:
    apt-get source alacarte
This way you will get the source code in your current directory.
