Red face The sudo web project

I have been toying with this idea for a while. (This is just meant to be a Geeky and fun way to install programs via the YubNub Command Line)

I am setting it up now.

The idea is quite simple, enabling the ability to install programs from a web based command line.

here is my question before I activate some sudo commands for the web.

since this will only be good for installation and not removal, I am thinking of a simple command like:

    Code:
    sudodeluge
This will install deluge from the familiar environment of your friendly Firefox web browser.

Do you think the command should be shortened and simplified like this or follow the standard protocol?

    Code:
    sudoapt-getinstalldeluge
I prefer the simply way instead, what do you think?

This will only require the installation of one Firefox extension:

    YubNub Command Line

    RAVTUX "sudoapt-getinstallfoo"
    RAVTUX or
    RAVTUX "sudoinstallfoo"
    20:20 RAVTUX "sudoifoo"
    RAVTUX "sudo-ifoo"

OK here is a screenshot tour of The Sudo Web project in action:

The sudo Web project implemented via YubNub Command Line in Firefox in Xubuntu 7.10(0)

Simple and easy, this can also be down without the "YubNub Command Line" Firefox Extension, either by simply going to the YubNub web page or if you have YubNub added to your Firefox Search Engine bar just simply type in The Sudo Web Project command line there.

This essentially can be done in any web browser, SeaMonkey, Opera, Konqueror, Epiphany, etc. etc.

This is using two Open Source and trusted websites: YubNub.org and GetDeb.net & the Gdebi package Installer

Update, I will follow the apt Gutsy format, so while the above command prompts will still work I have also included these alternates, which can be used also:

    Code:
    apt:deluge
    Code:
    apt:songbird
    Enjoy!
