Ubuntu addict and loving it
Hi,
I recently came across PlayOnLinux. And then I found Wine Doors. To my understanding they are both front ends for Wine (please correct me if I am wrong). Are there other free Wine front ends of note or are these two the best?
Which do you use? Or do you use another Wine front end?
One last thing: are there any known problems with having PlayOnLinux and Wine Doors both installed? Would their configurations with Wine interfere with with each other?

don't forget crossover, btw it's not free, but it does job as well...

My vote is for CrossOver as all it really does is make Wine functions easier to deal with by adding a GUI. The others try to script processes and configurations in Wine, but don't seem to take into account that Wine is constantly updated. Some of the scripting they do is not actually required anymore and in a few cases may actually hurt the performance of the app or game you are trying to run. I've never actually had either PlayOnLinux or WineDoors successfully run games that I know work when I've installed them in plain Wine. CX Games, on the other hand, works just as well as plain Wine for the same games.

As far as I can tell, PlayonLinux supports alot more programs in total as of today. They are almost all games.
Wine-Doors is going through a bunch of bugs until 0.1.2 is released.
