It would be great to make Ubuntu CDs easily available to our communities -- in coffee shops, public libraries, universities, etc. Not having to worry about downloading and burning ISO files takes a fair amount of the hassle out of installing Ubuntu. Would anyone be able to set up a small display or just a pile of CDs in their area? CDs are available for free and in bulk through Ubuntu's shipit program: https://shipit.ubuntu.com/ Here are the places I've come up with in Vermillion: The Coffee Shop Gallery The Vermillion Public Library Computer Science Department and various other locations at USD We could also make CDs available at LUG meetings, LAN parties, ACM meetings, etc. What other ideas do you have?
