Unhappy Landscape Orientation for Issue #4

I just read the latest issue 31 Aug 07 and found it difficult to follow in landscape and therefore did not enjoy the content as much.

It maybe that being in Europe that I'm used to reading material being in portrait.

I just thought that the issue looked 'sparse' in places and therefore this was an attempt at trying to fill in the empty spaces.

The content was good just a query about the orientation of the pages that's all.

I liked the landscape format immensely, and wouldn't mind it staying as such.

One suggestion for those who print it out, and then put it in a binder, as I do: print the even pages upside down on the other side of the pages, that way you are not turning the binding upside down every time.you go to a new page.

    Good issue, though.

I would tend to agree with chrome. I found the landscape format immensely frustrating & see very little need for its use. I can see the practical thought behind it as now you can view whole pages at a time, however the reality is that it simply feels unnatural & awkward.

I print out Full Circle and read it during study hall. At first I was quite annoyed at the landscape but while I was reading it I found it was much easier to read. I really like it and hope you keep it up. BTW my art teacher also complimented it on really good design. And if people really want two designs I would make a portrait oriented version but it might come out later then the other one, I have a busy schedule.

What about both versions? I like the new format for reading as a PDF, but for printing it might be better as it was before. IDK, I never print anymore.

I must say that I put it all in a binder and it is actually easier to read like this.

i read it online... and having a crappy laptop with 1024x768 resolution, the landscape version is so much better than portrait... if it was portrait, i would constantly need to scroll down and up again to read the next coloumn... so pls... keep it as it is

The landscape format is about the only thing I do NOT like about Full Circle Magazine.
