Am I understanding right - that you want Crossover Office for Ubuntu?
That's a paid piece of software, available at the CodeWeavers website.
You can get a 30-day free trial, but after that it's $39.95 US for a "Standard" single-user installation (includes 6 months of support), or $69.95 for "Professional" (multi-user installation better for businesses), which includes a year of support.
Standard .deb packages are available for download, so you don't have to compile it from source.
I have the Standard version on my Ubuntu machine, and it's pretty useful. It won't get all Windows-based apps running, but it's pretty decent and fairly easy to use.
I can't say that I'd recommend it for most people (better to find alternative free software to replace the Windows apps), but if you have to have it (because you absolutely have to use something with no current Linux equivalent), it's worth the $40.
Oh - if you want it for video games, you're better off going with TransGaming's Cedega, though that is a monthly subscription rather than a single up-front cost.
