August 2007 Meeting

The meeting will be the Friday before the 4th saturday sale (http://saturdaysale.com/okc.php3), at the Panera Bread at 104th & Penn(but can be changed). We have not had much input on this so now is your last chance for this meeting. Meetings may rotate to meet the needs of every one this way no one is left out of the in beeing close to the meetings. We will be looking for a bettering meeting place that may be more static as we grow.


Those of you from Tulsa are welcome to come join us we would enjoy the visit.


Please let us know if you are going to make it, this way we know who to look for .


Agenda

1. Plan how we spread the word to the local computer shops

2. Plan distribution of Ubuntu CD's and pamphlets

3. Discuss pamphlet designs

4. Discuss future meetings

I'm interested, but having only found out the day of the meeting I'm not going to be able to make it.

Personally, I'd be more likely to make it if future meetings could be a little earlier (maybe 6:00) so I could make it back to Tulsa from OKC at a reasonable hour, but at the same time I'm sure there are people who work for a living (I'm still in school) and couldn't make it by 6:00.

In any case, I'll keep tabs on the board and I'll see if I can make it to the next meeting.

This was just planned this week, very sporatic, I think it might be better to have future meetings on Saturdays if we are going to meet and it not be in IRC.

They do have WiFi, so I am sure someone will be in the channel to be a go-between for those that cannot make it.
