I'm currently in Mandeville. (Northshore of Lake Pontchartrain) Other than the commute to Metairie every day, it is a great place to be.

I, too, live in Monroe (originally from Shreveport).

I'm a huge Ubuntu fan, having climbed on board with Warty and never looked back. I even still have original free cds of each release (yeah, I know they're not necessarily collector's items, but I'm a packrat).

I've both taken and offered advice on the forums since 2004 and have always been impressed with the level of support from all the members here.

Not yet just got my new computer so i chose to install the beta on the old one as well as dual booting feisty on my new one with vista premium.

What steps exactly do i have to do to get on the loco team, i didn't realize that LA had a team

Sweet will do, at school right now so my time is limited. Trying to get my school to let me install linux on some computers to let the school experience it without having to install it on their computers first.
