Am I being sued or something?

I just got card in my mail from Wal-Mart from the post office, telling me to come pick it up and sign for it in their office, I used to work there but I can't think of why they would send me anything Certified Mail, I know that certified letters are usually not good news, should I not sign for it, or call Wal-Mart and see why they are sending me certified mail?

Personaly I would phone them just too make sure, don't sign for anything unless you know what it is.

Did you do anything illegal or unethical? If not, I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe they owe you money?
I see that there is evil, and I know that there is good, and the in-betweens I've never understood...

An employer has to send you a few things after you left:
    a. Final tax form T4 (Canada)
    b. Employment insurance form so you can claim unemployment benefits (Canada).
    c. There may also be some things regarding life insurance, health insurance and final Holiday payout.

So, a few good reasons and none bad.

Certified mail is used so the sender knows that the recipient received it. This doesn't mean bad news. Why don't you just sign for it and open it up and find out what it says?
