    Exclamation Instant Messaging

    Hello to all,

I just wanted to feel out the use of IM for our little group here. I have all of my IM accounts listed in my info, so anytime anyone wants to shoot the breeze, I am usually available.

If you don't really want to be bothered with IMs, I guess you could reply here and I will not add you to my lists.

    Re: Instant Messaging

I use gmail and googletalk for just about everything. That's the easiest way to contact me. I also log into yahoo, aim and ICQ. Next to Gtalk it would be ICQ where most get in touch with me.
I used skype until Feisty came out. After that no matter how hard I try I can't get the mic to work. I finally gave up because I was spending too much time trying to get it fixed.

Googletalk, ICQ (mostly), MSN Messenger, Yahoo Messenger...that's about it for me.

Just downloaded the latest version of Pidgin (used to be Gaim) so I could consolidate all my IM client's in one app. So far it works great in windoze. Now all I need to do is to figure out how to install it in Ubuntu!
