Install needed packages:
I don't have fiesty-backports turned on so I manually downloaded avahi-sharpCode:$ sudo apt-get install build-essential mercurial libmono-cairo2.0-cil mono mono-devel libmono-dev mono-gmcs monodoc

more software needed:Code:$ dpkg -i libavahi1.0-cil_0.6.11-1_all.deb
Code:$ hg clone http://hg.circular-chaos.org/notify-sharpCode:$ cd notify-sharp/Code:$ autoscanCode:$ automake --add-missingCode:$ autoreconfCode:$ ./configureCode:$ makeCode:$ sudo make installNow lets install Giver:Code:$ cd ..
