When i try to configure any program i get the following error

error: installation or configuration problem: C compiler cannot create executables.

and good to finally c some egyptian pros in linux ;D ... am new to using it

What is your distro and how do you install your GCC, try to use the default installer method for your gcc,
Synaptic in case of ubuntu and debian,

ah efkrt el pacakge name a5eeran srry asly new linux user :

sudo apt-get install build-essential

This is the command to use so u can compile programes
