There was some mention in the #ubuntu-us channel a few nights ago about having an online party one night during Ubuntu Live. This will allow for those of us that can not make it to Portland to feel like we can participate. Is there any interest as a team for us to meet somewhere in person and then participate online together? The dates for Ubuntu Live is July 22- 24. For more information on Ubuntu Live see http://www.ubuntulive.com/.
Thanks, etank
Sounds like fun. I'm up for it so long as it's during the day (or anytime on Sunday). Is this going to be another coffee shop meet-up?

That would be loads of fun. I really wanted to go to Ubuntu Live, but I just can't make it this year.
I think that if we can meet at a coffee house or anywhere with $$$FREE$$$ wifi then that would be cool. Then we can hang out together and also chat with the others in irc.
I think it's a great idea.. although I'll be out-of-state that weekend. I'd be able to chat on IRC, just not meet up with you in person...

I'm up for it! I should be free then and I'm up for wherever. Off topic, but anyone seen this? ~Jordan "The Stash" Montgomery
