My name is Mark, and I'm a student at Vincennes University. I also work as an IT professional in the town of Vincennes, IN. In my many nights of free-time, I have noticed myself thinking about a lack of a structured Linux community down here, but have ran into SEVERAL Linux and open-source enthusiasts throughout my time here. My question to you all is: what would need to be done to start a LUG? I think I have a place that I can get to hold monthly meetings, but what would be a good structure to hold these meetings in? workshops? discussion groups? boot-camps? and what experiences have you guys/gals gained over the years in doing such? I'm open to ideas and suggestions, so just let them flow. Nothing is set into concrete by any means, so I would be willing to run a few ideas past some of my associates.
