got as far as the ./configure bit
getting the error:
Code:checking for X... libraries , headers in standard search path checking for gethostbyname... yes checking for connect... yes checking for remove... yes checking for shmat... yes checking for IceConnectionNumber in -lICE... no checking for main in -lXext... no checking for main in -lXaw... no configure: error: Unable to find Xaw library
linux might be a headache to set up sometimes, but at least when its set up, it stays set up!

Could you send a URL to a tarball, etc, of the source code you are trying to build? It looks completely hosed trying to find 'main' in libXaw, etc.Originally Posted by dgrafix
