    Onboard Double Tap

I have a Samsung Q1 UMPC that I have running with Ubuntu 7.04. This device has a touchscreen and it is working as a mouse. My xorg.conf file is set up so that when a regular mouse is plugged into the Q1 it will work also.

However, when I try to use Onboard to tap in a Web site address in Firefox, for example, I will get a double repeat of each keystroke I tap.

Is there a configuration file or setting in xorg.conf that will help correct this?

BTW, when I modify my xorg.conf file to set the touchscreen as "CorePointer" (so that it is the only mouse recognized), then I don't have this same problem.

    Hello,

I don't have the knowledge to determine what causes the symptoms that you describe.

You might consider filing a bug against onboard.

    Thanks for the informations.
