They use different desktop environments, but share the same repositories and rely on the same underlying architecture.

    Ubuntu uses Gnome.
    Kubuntu uses KDE.
    Xubuntu uses Xfce.
Edubuntu is an exception; it uses Gnome, but is made for schools and purely educational purposes.

"Kubuntu is an official derivative of Ubuntu using the KDE environment instead of GNOME."

"Edubuntu is a officailly supported derivative of Ubuntu that is customised for Education use."

"Xubuntu is an official derivative of Ubuntu using the Xfce desktop environment. It is intended for users with less-powerful computers, or those that require a highly efficient desktop environment on faster systems. Xubuntu features primarily GNOME applications."

I strongly recommend against using sticky CD labels. The glue can seep through and damage the information on the CD.

I ripped all my CDs a year and a half ago when I built my new computer. The only ones I had problems ripping all had sticky labels. DO NOT USE THEM!

    Hi,

Love the labels and thanks for them. Can you make a cd case cover and tray card too or maybe a dvd cover. Also like another user asked how would you go about changing the label to reflect the new versions that come out? What program do you need to use and what would be the steps.

The file is available as a .xcf which is opened with GIMP. From there, you can change different layers (say switch between kubuntu and ubuntu themes), and change the individual text.

I don't see a link anywhere for the .xcf files. I like this image, but I'd kinda like to replace "cd" with "dvd".
