Project Metropolis - Arcade Machine

So, I've been building an arcade machine for the past year and I figured I'd upload some of the early pics for folks to see. I was thinking about loading windows on it, but I almost want to try linux (Though I'm kinda scared as to how that'd work!)

Pics described from left to right :

1: bottom of lower cabinet. Double rinforced for stability.

2: lower cabinet videw from front. The large hole is a door

3: top part of test control panel

4: bottom part of test control panel

5: upper part of cabinet. It's not finished yet, but those will be joined soon

We reacently built the real control panel and maaaan it's sweeet, I need to take pictures of it!

Indeed, very cool. Please post more pics of the build process. I'm guessing this is going to run MAME on top of Ubuntu? Please let us know how smoothly that comes out.
