Post How to make my own bootable distro

I have made recently a backup or my NTFS hard disk with ntfsclone, and I want to make a single bootable DVD with the IMG file, just to restore the partition at any time. I don´t know how to make such bootable cd. I want to make it as simple as possible, for example picking up an already existing image for xubuntu and "insert" into it the IMG file and keep the ubuntu being bootable.

I may use slax or any other distro. Any way to do this? I have no idea about programming and such.

I thought one could use either acetoneiso2 or poweriso to creat a bootable cd/dvd.

with acetoneiso2 1.0.2 you can extract the image boot of on iso or cd and then make a bootable iso!

do not download xAcetoneISO2 as these options haven't been ported yet.

Why would someone choose xAcetoneISO2 over Acetoneiso2......
    .....I don't get it.
