    The role playing game Neuromancer was pretty cool. Well, it was about 20 years ago on Commodore 64... But apparently someone is trying to do a remake. Let's see.
    You can look on wikipedia for more info : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Neuromancer_video_game.

    Another good one was, Hacker II, but sadly it is also a vintage. You can find its description here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hacker_2.

    At least, I assume you can find them for free and run them in some good old emulator.

    Sorry for being a little bit off topic. Ahh, nostalgie!

    true that, uplink was a pretty sick game, but i think it costs money, might be able to find a torrent for it, anyways heres the commercial link for it http://www.introversion.co.uk/cgi-bi...k-demo-1.54.sh

    Uplink is commercial (although there is a demo version) and I think he prefers free games

    But I have already played the Demo on Windows and the game seems to be pretty good.

    I haven't played Neuromancer (I mean... I wasn't even born back then) but I found a Neuromancer MUD... If you like, check it here.

    Now, in relation to skoalman88.

    Do you want "Hollywood" hacking games (like Uplink) or Real hacking games?

    There are a few sites that let you hack through several pages (usually each page is a level on the site), but for those type of games, you have to know a little of programming, and have a lot of patience

    Here is two of those sites:

    Re: Hacking Simulation

    If you can't even get past that, i doubt you're a hacker...
    Code:
    if (document.a.c.value == a)
    {
    document.location.href="http://hackerskills.com/"+document.a.c.value+".htm";
    }

    He didn't say he was a hacker. Hacking Simulators != Hacking

    Re: Hacking Simulation

    Thanks for the suggestions. I am looking for a realistic simulation that can maybe teach me a few things (for educational purposes of course).
