What are we planning for the party? Machines with Feisty installed, a presentation done in Impress?
If Feisty comes out on 4/19, and we're having the release party on 4/20, it'll be hard-pressed (but doable) to have machines up and running with 7.04. Perhaps we can have a few machines with it in place, and a few that we can install on while the party is in process?
I was kind of thinking of having some CDs already burned and ready to use. Then at the party we can install it on some systems, eat pizza, etc. I am not sure how other release parties have been run before. I will ask around.

We should add our info to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeistyReleaseParties. What does everyone think?

What the Ohio Team is doing sounds cool to me, just go somewhere to eat and talk about Ubuntu and other geek-related things.

I'm for that. There are a couple of little LAN Gaming places here that serve food and might be a good place to gather. But then again, anywhere to celebrate Feisty releasing is good too!
Mid-April will be about the time we'll be getting those 60 computers from Oldham County as well. We might have some computers for people to play around with.
If this is anywhere near Louisville, I'd love to join. I'll bring beer and pizza.
I think that if the need is great enough we can have this be regional. It would be great to have the whole team in one place but if more people can (will) attend if it is regional then that may be better.
