to all concerned, I have started the process of setting up an NYC LoCo team. so far I have set up the IRC Channel: irc.freenode.net #ubuntu-nyc and a wiki page on the ubuntu wiki: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/NYCTeam if you would like to join or help out please check out the wiki page for the info and come on the irc channel. all NYCers are welcome

Your going to have a hard time getting this moving Sal.. I don't think theres a lot of new yorkers on these forums.

Once you have set up your LoCo team page on launchpad...then you should make a formal request to Ubuntu-Geek for your own LoCo Team forum here at ubuntuforums.org....this will help you out greatly.... stick with it and don't give up
Sal more importantly then a wiki page you need to set up a launchpad page for your local team.
