Installing Ubuntu 7.04 works ok but when I restart computer and hit return on the first line of the ubuntu list my screen goes black and nothing more happens...
I have heard this is because ubuntu 7.04 have no support for my video card
And I am also a first time user or should I say want to use ubuntu..
My system is:
Mainboard: A8N32-SLI Deluxe
CPU : AMD X2 4600+ 2.4Ghz
System Ram: 2GB Dual Kit
Graphics Card: 8800 GTX
I hope there will be out of the box support for 8800 GTX soon because I really
wanna test out ubuntu...
Thank you
I get a Driver warning about my
Nvidia FX 5400 mobile card
tho i have not had much trouble with it yet. i never had any issue sunder 6.10
Hi
Completely new to Linux and (K)ubuntu.
On my laptop IBM T40, I have been able to run the LiveCD 7.04 - though it felt very slow.
But when installing, the boot would always hang before getting to the login screen using 7.04
I run 6.06 successfully, though the graphics feel slow.
Lexmark X3350.
I tired in Edgy
