The video card on the HP TouchSmart 320-1022 is detected, but can't be used by any current Kubuntu LiveCD/USB, therefore needing you to set the "nomodeset" option in order to be able to see the screen during boot, but then X did not started properly when tried to use the live desktop.
Also, I was not able to install Kubuntu 11.10 either using Wubi or Classic install, on both cases the bootloader was not able to be installed (Maybe this is a Win7 faulty thing).
Before to be able to see the Live options, the next message is shown:
Code:
Error: "Prefix" is not set.
After what I'm only shown 2 options: Start Kubuntu or Check the CD for deffects, despite the fact that on VirtualBox they show correctly, also on other computers.
And, when I try to start X (with startx on terminal) I got this output:
Code:
(EE) Failed to load module "fglrx" (Module does not exist, 0)
(II) [KMS] drm report modesetting isn't supported
(EE) RADEON(0): Chipset: "SUMO" (ChipID = 0x964a) requires KMS
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration
So far, those are all the problems I have.
