Here's my complete system setup, and it all works out the box. Will list driver version where possible.
I've got Ubuntu 10.10 64bit installed on a dual-boot with Win7. As of posting, the kernel is 2.6.35-24-generic, with Gnome 2.32.0.
Asus P7P55 LX motherboard - so far just don't use any IDE drives as there's still Linux booting issues with the IDE controller for some reason.
Intel Core i5 760
4GB of memory being recognised as 3.9GiB. Not sure if that's actually 4GB as GiB is different to GB.
Samsung hard drive. Not sure what model, but it's a 1TB drive.
Creative 5.1 speakers. All speakers work fine through the sound testing, but haven't been able to test through any other means.
Samsung DVD Writer. Works fine reading disks, not tried writing to any yet.
Nvidia GeForce GTS450. Using 260.19.06 drivers which is the minimum version required for this card.
Samsung SynMaster 943 monitor. Yep, this works as well, even at higher resolutions than Win7 would allow.
Microsoft Natural Ergonic 4000. All the basic buttons work out the box. Not bothered about the extra features.
Logitech MX-400. Works perfectly out the box.
