I just installed the 3.4.1145 deb package and it won't start. It looks like it's loading (CPU usage goes up) but then just exits with no error message. I tried removing wine and it's the same. Help really appreciated since there really isn't a decent GUI FTP for linux.

What revision did you use ?

flashfxp_3.4.1145-4 or flashfxp_3.4.1145-3 ?
Try to start it from command line and tell me if there's something wrong there.

I have a bug. When I'm clicking on "onqueue" or "transfer", the contex-menue dont go away. It hangs. Anyone else have this bug??

it was quite common bug in flashfxp on wine. What wersion do u use ?
btw IMO easiest way to deal with it is to use keyboard shotcuts...

How is the cpu usage while using it via wine?

this is by far my most "linux" quest ever i have been "compromising" with kasablanca / KFTPgrabber < that's the best native linux ftp client i've seen.

anyway how the hell have you overcome the wine bug ??! i've saw that tom's bug fix wasn't approved because no test case was filled.

if you did built this wine by yourself and added his patch you should file this !
