Here is a link to get OA:

I hope to find more games like this for Ubuntu.
Wow, that plays really well on my system. Definitely need to find more games...

Since my last post in here I've played around a bit with Nexuiz, OpenArena, Cube2 (sauerbraten), and Planeshift. Of this batch Nexuiz is my favorite. You may spot me on some of the populated servers for Nexuiz as Koji. -_^

Has anyone here played around with http://ubuntusoftware.info/ubuntu_ultimate_gamers/? I am wondering if it is worth the download time.

If you like RTS games, you should check out Glest. It is very customizable. You can create maps, players, etc. Since I can't get most of my RTS games towork on Linux, it has become my favorite altrnative.

Pretty new to ubuntu myself, I was recommended this game called tremulous however and it looks promising, though i can't speak from experience yet.

Reminds me a lot of Natural Selection (a 3rd party Half-life mod in steam).

List of games I have up and running thus far on my desktop:
America's Army (whatever the last linux native version was)
    Battle for Wesnoth
    Cube 2
    Flightgear
    Jedi Knight II (via wine)
    Open Arena
    Planeshift
    Neverwinter Nights
    Nexuiz
Steam (original Half-life and most of its mods through wine)
    Tremulous

I found another FPS worth looking into called Warsow. It has a unique graphical style thanks to it being cel shaded. It also has some unique controls for special player movements and some different weapons then the other games I've tried so far. You can check it out here: http://www.warsow.net/

I keep finding new and cool games to add to my ever growing list. Most recently I have added Frets on Fire, Second Life (now open source on the server side), and Guild Wars (through wine).

I'm loving Frets on Fire, and I've tried Guild Wars on both my ATi laptop and my ATi desktop, and they have both failed miserably with the "Too many concurrent lights" error, but my nVidia desktop has only had that problem once, I believe, so it's much more playable.

I have been having this error for Guild Wars more and more frequently. I'm running a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5700. Also I have installed Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory now as well.
