It was brought to my attention a few days ago that a Ubuntu Convention is going to be held at Google New York on February 16th. From the announcement, "Part un-conference, part installfest, and part user group meeting, The UbuCon will take place simultaneously in one large auditorium and 3 - 6 small (~20 people) conference rooms." Obviously, I know not all of you can make it; if you can make it, I'd really like to see you there. It'll be a good chance to get to know each other, and discuss what we want to do in a group. wiki page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TheUbucon rsvp page: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TheUbuconRSVP I still want to have an IRC meeting, though, preferably before the Con. What days are good for you guys? I'm available any time, Sunday through Thursday. Joe Terranova

I'm definitely going. There might be a few people from my LUG going as well. Don't know if any of my co-hosts will attend though.

I think I'm going to head to Ubucon . With this being my last month in NJ. . .I had better jump at the chance.
