This was recorded in, what, the early '70s (yetimon?).

Had to throw in one of my favourite Daddy Cool tunes from back in the day. Notice the Southwark beer t-shirt the drummer's wearing. Classic! (But only of much significance to a South Australian I suppose.) That beer was known as the 'green death' in later years as it dawned on people it was actually awful beer.

Ha! Just found this from the Master's Apprentices. They were kinda popular back then, too, but I don't remember this one! Icecream mountains with cherries dotted on their slopes?

Yeah I think you're right there, I can remember it from my pre-teens in the early to mid 70's.

Yeah another great Aussie band, the early to mid '70's was an excellent era for music in Oz. Cheers Bucky.

Current: (and now for something completely different) ... John Williamson, Bill The Cat ...

Edit: gotta post a youtube link for a change here ... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uVIiEeHrWtM

Just heard about GF five minutes ago on the radio and, coincidentally enough, just finished listening to the same song which they played after the announcement.

Sheesh, they're dropping like flies. What is it, dead performer week?
