Help with business project

Hi,

I've been forced to write a business plan for my aerospace engineering degree(yes no link to business i thought),
anyway does anyone know where i can get estimates for;

• the number of computers in the uk

• what OS they are running

I'm writing a plan for a computer hardware upgrade company and ubuntu installation/support/training.
To try and increase ubuntu use around my university.

Don't you have some statistics central over there? In Finland we have Tilastokeskus (http://www.stat.fi/), which has all kind of data. Im sure there's an equivalent in the UK too.

Sounds like a noble plan though Hope you get it right!

Thank You your post lead me to the right search criteria in google and I finally found the UK version.
