Cool articles on open source

We have to write some stuff in school and we can choose the topic ourself. I included open source in my topic (there's other stuff too). Our teacher says we have to collect information (I know everything I'm going to write about but the teacher's word is the command ). If anyone knows any good articles on open source or open content in the web, please give me a link.

If multimedia sources are ok (in some of my highschool projects it was even required), you should go on Google Video and search for Richard Stallman. He gives very interesting, long and informative speeches, even if you don't agree with him 100%.

that's not exactly what i inteded with the links. but the windows vs linux examples show lots of the issues regarding open source. like:
- software is often in 0.x version
- lots of choice

you can also use the IE vs firefox for an example.

cool link, but i don't agree with the science analogy.
in science you actually transmit the rights of your writings to journals. it leaves the scientists without rights on their own publications.
moreover, scientific journals are quite expensive...
