Why does that website end in .py (Python)?

Sorry, but isn't .py an executable file?

Executables are microsoft windows programs. Python is an interpreted language. The *.py URL means that the information you fill out on their web form ( asking them to carry alt.os.linux.ubuntu ) goes to a python script to "executed" on THEIR computer(server) to process the information.
