Too right no reason to consider Windows. I just scoff at the proposition of large establishments deploying Windows platforms for their jobs and users. Windows is for fools.
Lets face it Windows only exists to date because of a void which it filled in when f'all could be done with a PC. In those days you honestly didn't even need a PC.
It just amazes me how crap can take off and stay there.
Happy Xmas everyone!!
For easy configurable weather via bash scripts from various sites, check out "Teo's x4 Sites" in my sig. There's actually 5 now, he added a separate moon phase script. Read the entire first post see see them all.
If you are talking Partner ID and Licence KEY for weather·com - they no longer exist in the way conkyForecast used them. And cF has , sadly, finally stopped working (for most of us Habitual - he's a lucky one).
For a LUA weather script check out v9000 - a little more complicated but worth it.
If you want to call this "lucky"
sunrise, sunset and daylight all have the same value.Code:for i in `seq 0 9`;do /usr/bin/conkyForecast -d DL --startday $i ; done 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14 09:14
been that way for months now.
I just accept it.
Windows assumes the user is an idiot.
Linux demands proof.
and most of it is working:

So what sort of magic do you have up your sleeve.
happy happy for you ... but miss my cF bash script
Felices Fiestas!
